This is a great place to fly to if you want to practice your short field skills. The runway looks short but is long enough for most light planes you’d typically rent. Take a taxi into town for a nice seafood meal at one of several restaurants- last time we were there the cab had an aircraft radio and responded when we announced our arrival. If you’re into fishing or being around water, this would be a great place to spend a weekend.
